Despite having a full day of meetings and an already full practice schedule, Dr. Clark took the time to see a new patient who had been scheduled incorrectly. At no point did she suggest that another provider see the patient. Instead, she immediately stepped in to ensure the patient received the care they needed. As it turned out, the patient required immediate medical attention to prevent a significant health event. Thanks to Dr. Clark's prompt assessment and treatment, the patient was stabilized and able to return home safely, avoiding a trip to the emergency department.
